Karley Marotta Career
Marotta works as the sports director for TMJ4 News. Before relocating to Milwaukee, she spent five years at WKOW in Madison, Wisconsin. She started her tenure there as a weekend sports anchor and spent her final three years as the sports director. There, she extensively broadcast Wisconsin athletics.
Marotta’s unforgettable moments in Madison included broadcasting the Badgers’ hockey and volleyball national championships, as well as traveling for men’s basketball NCAA Tournament games and football bowl games. She serves as the initial sports director both in Madison and Milwaukee.
In addition to her work in Madison, Marotta was the play-by-play broadcaster for the WIAA girls’ and boys’ basketball state tournaments. Before working in Madison, she worked as the weekend sports anchor at WXOW in La Crosse. She has enjoyed covering sports all over Wisconsin and is now happy to return home closer to family and work at the station where she first interned.
