Kreutz works for KGO-TV as an award-winning anchor and reporter at ABC 7 News Bay Area. She was an evening anchor and reporter at ABC10 in Sacramento before joining ABC7 News Bay Area. She joined the station in May 2019.

Liz got a job at ABC News after completing internships at Glamour Magazine, PBS’s POV social justice documentary series, and Good Morning America. Liz worked for the network for nearly six years and covered a number of major news stories, including the election of Pope Francis during the 2013 papal conclave in Rome and the presidential and midterm elections of 2012 and 2014.

She most recently covered Hillary Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign as an embedded reporter for ABC News. This was a lifetime job that took her all over the country and gave me a front-row seat to one of the wildest campaigns in presidential history.

She probably would have moved to Washington, D.C. if Clinton had won the election to continue covering her in the White House. Instead, she interpreted the race’s outcome as a signal to relocate back to the West Coast.

Liz worked as an evening anchor and reporter at ABC10 in Sacramento before joining ABC7 News Bay Area. There, she was one of a small group of reporters who won a local Emmy Award for outstanding continuing coverage of the California wildfires.

She also co-chaired the scholarship program for aspiring journalists at the Sacramento Press Club and was the station spokesperson for the American Heart Association’s “Go Red for Women” campaign.
