”Margie began working as a general assignment reporter for FOX 2 News in June 1999. Prior to working at the station, she hosted the morning show at Emmis Communications.
Margie has a long history in radio, having co-hosted shows with Smash on KSD-FM, anchored the news on Z-107-7, and subsequently appeared as a cast member and newscaster on the widely broadcast Steve and DC Radio Show.
She was a weekday anchor/reporter for KRCG-TV in Jefferson City, Missouri, before relocating to St. Louis. She has received many awards for her achievements.
Margie won first prize for spot news coverage at the Kansas City Press Club as well as Outstanding News Series Awards from the Missouri Broadcaster’s Association. She has also won five Emmy Awards, including the best morning newscast, news, and community service.
Margie donates a lot of her free time to charitable organizations. Her major goal is to assist kids who were born with impairments. She has held positions on the March of Dimes’ Board of Directors and Communications Committee. She is also involved with St. Louis Learning Disabilities and the Children’s Miracle Network.
