Goldwasser works as a news anchor and show host. Max is a journalist who has won four awards. He comes to West Michigan from a local news station in Central Oregon, where he spent the last three years doing just about everything in front of and behind the camera.
Max has worked there for that long. He covered Oregon’s historic wildfire season in 2020, organized and hosted Olympic content for two weeks, and produced two original shows to engage the community during the pandemic.
His interest in storytelling and experience on screen predate his career in journalism. He was raised in a community with a 99-seat theater just north of Los Angeles. Max apologizes to those who endured his singing while he appeared in plays and musicals. He later moved into screen acting and auditioned for movies, commercials, and television shows.
He fell in love with the broadcasting industry, however, and wanted to make the switch after watching Sports Center on ESPN every night before bed throughout middle school and high school. Max went to the University of Southern California (Fight On!) with his twin by his side. where he minored in sports media and studied broadcast and digital journalism.
