Douglas works for WTVM 13 as a multimedia journalist/reporter. She joined WTVM 13 in July 2022. Before joining the station she was a multimedia journalist/reporter at KLAF-TV (NBC) / KADN-TV (FOX).
Her father would gather camcorders and make films of her when she was a young child in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. This sparked her interest in photography and shaped the way she was when she was in front of the camera. As she took leadership positions throughout elementary and secondary school and college, she quickly developed her public speaking confidence.
She has an unrivaled passion for narrating stories and interacting with the local community. Patsy worked as an intern at WAVY-TV 10 and 13 News Now, two of Norfolk, Virginia,’s premier news organizations. Additionally, she has created content for The National Association of Black Journalists in Miami, Florida, and WRAL-TV in Raleigh, North Carolina.
Patsy enjoys coaching young ladies who want to work in the media when she is not in front of the camera.
