Rick (a cancer survivor) has held a board position with the American Cancer Society here in Alabama. Additionally, he has volunteered with the Alabama Sports Hall of Fame, United Cerebral Palsy, and Big Oak Ranches.
The International Motorsports Hall of Fame, the Blue-Gray Hall of Fame, and the Alabama Sports Hall of Fame all have selection committees on which Rick has served. Rick has long participated in the Heisman Trophy voting process and has spoken and emceed at many charitable events.
Rick (a cancer survivor) has held a board position with the American Cancer Society here in Alabama. Additionally, he has volunteered with the Alabama Sports Hall of Fame, United Cerebral Palsy, and Big Oak Ranches.
