Osborne is the Head and Neck Surgery Director for the Osborne Head and Neck Institute (OHNI) in Los Angeles, California. He has an interest in treating parotid gland tumors and concentrates on the use of the slightest invasive method in the care of patients needing parotid surgery.
During his career, Osborne has led many advanced surgical methods, including a method for treating accessory parotid gland tumors that involve no skin incisions. He finished a fellowship in cutting-edge head and neck oncology under the guidance of Dr. Thomas Calcaterra at UCLA Medical Center. When he finished his fellowship, he started working for UCLA Medical Center as an assistant head and neck surgery professor. In this capacity, he won the Clinical Instructor of the Year Award for his remarkable training of surgical residents. Also, he worked with Dr. Calcaterra to give patients unmatched surgical care.
In 2003, he left UCLA to join Cedars-Sinai Medical Center as the founding director of the head and neck cancer center. 4 years later, he resigned and committed his time to forward the mission of OHNI and the Osborne Head and Neck Foundation. He has traveled all over the U.S., Asia, and Europe to observe and exchange insights with fellow surgeons with similar aspirations.
Dr. Osborne holds board certification from the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery.
