Killian works for WVTM 13 as an anchor, she joined the team as a producer in December 2010 and later become an anchor in 2013. Prior to joining the station, she was an intern capstone correspondent, and student anchor at WVUA-TV.
She was an employee of WVUA, the university’s corporate television station. Sarah covered stories from towns all around West Alabama while she was working at WVUA. Her stint at WVUA included interviews with Lou Holtz, the coach of the team that won the national title, and coverage of Dr. Robert Bentley’s candidacy for governor.
Sarah worked as a summer intern at WVTM 13 while still in college. She views it as a great blessing that she was able to learn from the greatest in the profession when she first started out.
Sarah tries to work out in her free time, tries new recipes, reads everything she can get her hands on, and spends time with her family and friends.
