Cruz works for WTKR as an anchor on weekday evenings for the 4 p.m., 7 p.m., and 10 p.m. newscasts. Cruz began working for WTKR News 3 in March 2022. Prior to that, Pari worked as a bilingual anchor and reporter in English for CBS 58 and in Spanish for Telemundo Wisconsin.
Pari comes to News 3 from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where she worked as a bilingual anchor and reporter for CBS 58 in English and Telemundo Wisconsin in Spanish. While there, she covered the COVID-19 pandemic, the protests in Kenosha that followed the police shooting of Jacob Blake, and stories that had a significant cultural impact on the Latino community, such as immigration rallies and stories of discrimination.
Prior to that, she worked for WTVO for two years as a reporter and weekend anchor in Rockford, Illinois. Although Pari was born and raised in Chicago, she has traveled all over the world since she has always enjoyed doing so. She is a multilingual polyglot who speaks five languages!
She is eager to share your stories and advocate for diversity and inclusion as a Latina journalist. The National Association of Hispanic Journalists is another organization she belongs to. Pari enjoys yoga, dancing, checking out new restaurants, watching movies, and, as a self-described coffee aficionado, she’s constantly looking for her next great cup of java when she’s not at the anchor desk.
