Abby Walton is an American in the journalism field who works for WCTV as a reporter and anchor at 5:30 and 11 p.m. She also anchors FOX 49 News at 10. Abby worked at the Terre Haute, Indiana, CBS/FOX affiliate WTHI for six years before joining WCTV in June of 2014. She served as the anchor of the region’s most popular morning and lunchtime shows. She reported and produced the noon show as well.
Julie Montanaro is an American in the journalism field who works for WCTV as an award-winning journalist and anchors the weekday news programs Eyewitness News at 5 and Eyewitness News at 6 on WCTV. She previously served on the board of the Florida Associated Press and has earned multiple AP Awards, including the prestigious “Individual Achievement Award” three times.
Marisa Silvas is an American in the journalism field who works for WJFW as a news coach and consultant. At WJFW in Rhinelander, Marisa began her career in radio, and she stayed there a second time since she liked it so much. Over the course of her six years at Newswatch 12, she served as a sports anchor, morning anchor, and assistant news director. She will always have a particular place in her heart for the Northwoods.
Sol Mayer is an American in the journalism field who works for WJFW as a sports anchor and reporter. In June 2022, Mayer became a member of the Newswatch 12 staff. Sol previously held a position as a play-by-play announcer and commentator for High School sports in Oklahoma at SportsTalk 1400.
Devin Biggs is an American in the journalism and meteorology fields who works for WJFW as the weekend meteorologist and reporter. In October 2018, Devin joined the Newswatch 12 staff. He received a promotion to Newswatch 12 Today’s morning meteorologist position in late August 2020. Before joining the station, Biggs worked as a weather intern at WAND-TV.
Matt Weaver is an American in the journalism field who works for WJFW as a producer and a reporter at Newswatch 12. After that, he was moved to general assignment reporting and stood in as needed for the sports desk. Before working as a Lambeau Field usher for PMI Entertainment Group, Weaver began working for Newswatch 12 in January 2022.
