Warren tied the knot. The couple has three children, including a set of twins, a son named Evan, a daughter named Lila, and a son named Asher. Evan and Lila were born on Christmas Eve 2013, and are 12 years old. On December 25, 2025, he posted a photo of the twins on his Instagram account and captioned it “All I want for Christmas is teenagers. Not one but two! Happy birthday to my #twins..”
Asher was born on Tax Day 2014 and is 12 years old. On April 14, 2024, he posted Asher on his Facebook account, captioning, “Can’t believe he’s 10! Happy birthday Asher. Love you more each day.” His wife enjoys taking the children to the beach. He enjoys the South Florida warm weather and takes full advantage of the extended golf season whenever he is free.

The following year, he transferred to the University of Oklahoma, where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Meteorology in 1998. He holds the Certified Broadcast Meteorologist distinction from the American Meteorological Society. He also serves as a member of the American Meteorological Society and holds its Seal of Approval
Before his tenure at CBS 4 Miami, Warren worked as a weekend meteorologist at WTXF FOX 29 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, for more than a year. He also worked as a meteorologist at Al Jazeera America in New Your City, WCAU in Philadelphia, and KPAX in Missoula, Montana.
Over the course of his career, Warren has broadcast various national weather events like the 2000 wildfires in the Western United States, the California drought, Hurricane Sandy, and the record snowfall winter of 2009-2010 in Philadelphia. He became a weather enthusiast when a round of golf was cut short by a violent thunderstorm. That interest led him to pursue a meteorology career at one of the top Meteorology schools in the country in the tornado alley.
Besides his work on TV, Warren loves working with students and teachers to share his knowledge of meteorology. In this capacity, he has been a mentor for the Student Weather Station and Datastream Atmosphere. These programs bring meteorological science curriculum into the classroom. As an Eagle Scout, he works closely with the scouting community and can be spotted visiting local troops to help the boys get their Weather Merit Badge.
