There, he broadcast the headlines in Brew City. Also, he field anchored the station’s broadcast of the Democratic National Convention in 2020, the Republican Presidential Debate in 2023, and the Republican National Convention in 2024 in Downtown Milwaukee.
Durian worked as an anchor at KSTP in Palm Springs, at KHQ in Spokane, and at WDJT in Minneapolis. While in Minneapolis, he won an Emmy with the KSTP news team for broadcasting the demise of popstar and Minnesota native, Prince.
Durian’s most unforgettable story was broadcasting the life of sailors on the U.S.S. Ronald Reagan off the coast of Mexico. Also, he spent the night on the nuclear-powered aircraft carrier, obtaining a certificate for partaking in an “Arrested Landing” and “Catapulted Take-off” in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. He hopes to look into the Rat Pack’s Las Vegas life. He has spent over 20 years volunteering with the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
