Andersen worked as a sports talk host at Mile High Sports Radio in Greenwood Village, Colorado. Before that, he worked at KUSA as a sports anchor and reporter. Also, he worked in North Carolina as a sports anchor, host, and producer for WNCN. He also worked at 7 News KMGH in Denver as a weekend sports anchor and reporter.
During his tenure at KMGH, Andersen traveled with the Broncos, conducting live shots from the locker room after the game. He also led the ‘Man-2-Man’ segment, which highlighted Broncos players away from the field. Moreover, he produced and edited ‘Fishing Colorado,’ a 10-part series that featured some of the state’s top fisheries.
