Geoff did not have to go very far to reach the Northwoods. Geoff, an Illinois native, used to spend his summers at the family lake cottage close to Stevens Point. In his first job out of college, Geoff made a career change. He started his career in business and worked in a number of significant American cities, including Chicago, Miami, Orlando, Dallas, Phoenix, Cleveland, Atlanta, and Las Vegas.
Although his business experiences were fruitful, they distracted him from his actual calling. Geoff felt that it was time to pursue his aspirations in the latter part of 2013. In addition to his prior year-long internships in Oklahoma City, he quit his job, re-enrolled in school, and accepted a full-time weather internship at WGBA-TV (NBC26) in Green Bay.
Geoff adores being outside. When he’s not in the air honing his talents as a certified flight instructor and licensed pilot, which he does frequently because weather observation is a 24/7 job, you can also find him skiing, bicycling, and boating. Geoff would be delighted to hear from you and is overjoyed to be working in North-central Wisconsin.
