In 2020, Jasmine covered the Easter tornado outbreak that unleashed destruction across northern Louisiana and southern Mississippi. Additionally, she reported on the record-breaking hurricane season, during which five storms struck Louisiana. There were hurricanes in three of those storms. Lomax reported on the ice storm that knocked out power to many Louisianans in February 2021.
