He has performed as a fill-in on all shifts, created graphics, delivered presentations to schools, and produced upbeat, entertaining, and instructive personal feature reports for his signature series, West Michigan Stories. From 2012 to 2016, the series aired for about four years.
He has covered a wide range of news-related topics, including drought, 20-foot waves on Lake Michigan, severe storms and tornadoes, lightning strikes, blizzards, flooding, ice storms, and Superstorm Sandy.
