Prior to that, he worked for KNAZ-TV in Flagstaff, Arizona, WJFW-TV in Rhinelander, Wisconsin, and WISC-TV in Madison, Wisconsin, all in the field of broadcasting.
He has received five Emmy Awards, including two in 2006 and 2008 while serving as the top sports anchor for Mid-America. He has covered two Super Bowls with the Rams and four World Series for FOX-2, including three with the Cardinals. Martin claims that the Blues’ 2019 Stanley Cup victory was the biggest event or party he has ever covered.
He has been offering nightly analysis with TKO: The Kilcoyne Opinion during the 10:00 p.m. newscast since 2007. Martin has also been a regular on local radio, and you can currently hear him on KTRS’s “The Big 550” every day for segments.
