Springer works as a meteorologist for FOX 35 Orlando. In this role, he forecasts on weekdays at 8 p.m. and on Good Day Orlando on weekends. Hailing from Maryland, he has also spent time in the Ohio Valley, Upper Midwest, the Central High Plains, the Ozarks, and Central PA. He is now more than excited to be here in the Sunshine State.
Springer has worked in the meteorology field for almost 10 years, earning an Emmy and the American Meteorological Society’s Certified Broadcast Meteorologist distinction along the way. The Iowa Broadcast News Association has also honored him for his severe weather broadcast. He has also spent time on the American Meteorological Society’s Station Scientist Committee, serving as the board chair.
