Wholey works for KJRH as a meteorologist, he joined the 2 News Oklahoma Weather Team in December 2015. From 2008 through 2015, Wholey served as the Chief Meteorologist for KRNV, the NBC station in Reno, Nevada. There, he kept note of the earthquakes, wildfires, severe thunderstorms, flash flooding, snowstorms, and drought that would affect the high desert and Sierra.

He frequently visited schools to speak with children about my career and the weather. He was also a highly involved member of the community, offering his time at charitable events. Wholey had a few appearances on The Weather Channel and was a prominent NBC affiliate meteorologist in a major documentary.
