He was a natural weather enthusiast. He’s always loved science and math. In college, he had his first on-air experience with a small cable channel called PCN-TV. Although the experience was wonderful, he can’t help but smile as he remembers those early days.
He began my career as the Chief Meteorologist at WHSV TV3 Winchester in the stunning Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. He was presented with the esteemed AMS Certified Broadcast Meteorology seal at this location.
Soon after, he was hired by Washington, D.C.’s WTTG-TV. He has worked in the Mid-Atlantic and has covered a wide range of meteorological occurrences. From the landfall of Hurricane Sandy through the derecho in June 2012, the destructive tornado outbreak in 2011, and the several severe blizzards that hit the East Coast.
He is happy to call the Bay Area home after trading the winter for sunlight (and occasional fog!)
