Before joining KCTV5, Nicco worked as chief meteorologist for KSHB. There, he managed a 5-person weather department and led coverage on severe weather events. In addition, he led fundraising teams and charity walks for the Alzheimer’s Association and American Heart Association in honour of his mother-in-law. He was also a daytime meteorologist at KGO in San Francisco, California. He worked as a morning meteorologist before getting promoted to his final role.
