She was a host and reporter for nationally syndicated shows like EXTRA, Extra en Español, and Livin’ Large. Gonzalez is a former Miss Miami and Miss Florida. She was the second runner-up to Miss America in 1998, winning more than $50,000 dollars in scholarship money.
